We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of network deployment for the AWTG project.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in the telecom industry and a proven track record of successfully managing technical projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of network deployment, including the system integration of ORAN, RIC, and 5GSA Solutions.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of technical components, adhering to project timelines and quality standards.
- Work closely with technical teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and addressing any deviations or risks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, issues, and risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular meetings and reviews to monitor project progress, address issues, and drive decision-making.
- Manage the implementation of project tasks, working closely with subject matter experts to resolve issues.
- Coordinate service tests to ensure coverage and quality of the deployed network, working with testing teams to develop test strategies and plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Telecommunications, Engineering).
- PMP, Prince 2, or Prince 2 Agile certification.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically managing technical projects in the telecom industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple technical tasks simultaneously and prioritise effectively.
- Experience with risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Proficiency in project management software/tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Project Management or related field.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of AI and ML technologies.
- Familiarity with telecom ORAN, 5GSA, infrastructure, and network optimisation concepts.
Salary: Rate negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
