Network Security PenTester

AWTG is leading Telecommunications service provider based in Acton London. As part of our continued growth and expansion plans we’re seeking an experienced Pen Tester to join our growing team.

This role will apply industry standard methodologies to identify vulnerabilities in products and infrastructure, and collaborate with teams to report, and address findings. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of attack surfaces in modern compiled applications and operating systems. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to analyze both open, and closed source applications using a number of off-the-shelf or custom developed tools. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, work efficiently under minimal supervision, be able to deliver results that meet or exceed client expectations, be a strong team player, and actively participate in a challenging security environment. You will be providing deep security expertise and insight to correctly identify and reflect the security risks and vulnerabilities while working with them on remediation strategies.

Understanding security fundamentals and common vulnerabilities (e.g. OWASP Top 10)

Preferred:

Bootrom assessment experience

Experience with Dalvik/ART and Dex bytecode analysis

Vulnerability assessment experience

Penetration testing and code review

1-2+ years of security consulting experience

1+ years customer service experience

Additional experience in IT, security engineering, system and network security,

Authentication and security protocols, and applied cryptography

Scripting/programming skills (e.g., Python, Ruby, Java, JS, etc.)

Network and web-related protocol knowledge (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols)

Job Responsibilities:

Thoroughly document exploit chain/proof of concept scenarios for client consumption (*****)

Perform full stack penetration testing on infrastructure, and applications

Work independently, or as part of a team

Configure, run, and monitor automated security testing tools

Perform manual validation of vulnerabilities

Perform manual penetration testing of client systems, websites, and networks to discover vulnerabilities

Ability to develop innovative tools, solutions, processes which scale
