On the 21st of June, the University of Surrey welcomed Minister of State for DCMS at 5GIC showcasing exciting work in 5G, Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies. Two of the showcased technology demos were conducted by AWTG showing its cross border monitoring, management, command and control of connected devices for Internet of Things (IoT) and its rapid emergency response technology using a drone / UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle). The cross-border command and control of IoT devices was powered by AWTG’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) named EllA which also controlled executed rapid emergency response using a drone without any human input.
On the same week, a similar technology showcase was shown and demonstrated to the Trade Delegation of India lead by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
