AWTG is delighted to support Scotland 5G Centre’s Innovation Challenge as it kicks off its programme today, 28th of June, 2022.

AWTG has been working with Scotland 5G Centre (S5GC) since the inception of the 5G testbed in Dumfries and Galloway to the creation of the Innovation ChallengeAs the challenge progresses and winners have been shortlisted, AWTG has been on top to provide the best possible support. By providing technical and business expert advice, mentoring, and first-hand access to S5GC test bed and equipment, we aim to support the winners to rapidly develop 5G compatible products or services within Scotland’s 5G environment and the healthcare system.

AWTG’s Director of Service Delivery, Matt Moayedi, shares:

“AWTG service delivery team is thrilled to facilitate a state-of-the-art 5G network at S5GC Dumfries hub, enabling the start of the programme. I am excited to be part of the AWTG team helping the winners transform their product into 5G compatible, and looking forward to the start of the era resulting in the paradigm shift in the health sector and Scottish businesses.”

The challenge’s objective is: “To bring new 5G compatible products or services to meet the needs presented by the healthcare and social care sector by helping the winners develop their own 5G success story.”
