AWTG is proud that we were selected by the University of Surrey as their key partner for the full turnkey deployment of the UK’s first end to end 5G test bed.
The test bed network forms a central part of the exciting new £70m dedicated 5G Innovation Centre designed to facilitate collaboration between academics, vendors and operators with a view of working towards 5G technologies from 2018.
AWTG provided FULL TURNKEY deployment services including; Overall programme oversight and management, Technical site design, Groundworks and civils, Fibre transport ring, Connectivity to the core network and Inventory and stores management.
Throughout the lifecycle of the programme, AWTG applied innovative ideas and solutions whenever they’ve encounter problems and issues to ensure the programme remains on track, within budget and critically to exceeds our clients expectation.
