AWTG were very pleased to deliver two presentations at this year’s ‘Digital Festival Hounslow’.

David Oliver described how technology is being used by local authorities to support high street recovery and identified 5 common themes. As you might expect from the Council of the year, Hounslow is addressing high street recovery head on.

For the second presentation, Ian Vernon described how 5G is being used by the eSports industry. Ian’s presentation included a behind the scenes look at the Esports Scotland Finals held last week in Dundee.

This year has been about supporting the Digital Strategy and Recovery Plan and has included sessions about preparing for job interviews and making your CV stand-out. Hounslow recognises that it has some of the highest rates of digital exclusion in the country, and is on a mission to change this.
