In the week from 19 June, AWTG’s Director of Research and Development, Design and Technology, Dr. Oliver Holland, participated in the IEEE VTC 2022-Spring conference as  representation on the Board of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society (VTS) covering the scope of IEEE VTS Standards.

Dr. Holland was delighted to also attend a couple of keynote talks that were highly significant regarding the future directions for 6G.

Dr. Holland has shared a key take-away from the keynotes as follows:

“The directions towards 6G, as seen by Nokia and Samsung, align very well with the technology directions that AWTG is taking and associated product developments—particularly with regard to network and spectrum management and the incorporate of AI capabilities therein.”
