AWTG, Direk and the University of Surrey presented the outcome of the PIPS (Platform Independent Positioning System). This project is funded by Innovate UK. AWTG presented its development and advancement in indoor navigation and proximity advertising.
The PIPS project created highly accurate indoor positioning, location and navigation systems. The presentation included milestone review, various development and delivery stages throughout the entire project timeline. An extensive research, survey, tests and demonstrations were made on a range of industries and markets globally. Different validation methodologies were considered and results were presented.
