BT has announced the UK’s first live 5G factory installation has been switch on at Worcestershire 5G Testbed (W5G). Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning, robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), Augmented Reality are now part of the manufacturing processes.
We are proud to share that AWTG, along with Worcestershire County Council, University of Surrey, Huawei, O2 and Malvern Hills Science Park, were part of the consortium that delivered UK’s most comprehensive 5G testbed trial.
AWTG’s CEO, Abbey Alidoosti, said “This success was based on excellent collaboration between consortium members and Mark Stansfeld’s visionary leadership“.
